Well, frankly speaking, singaporeans are so "kiasu". Just look at the current promotion by metro. A 20% anniversary sale and spent $300 or more to redeem x-box/latest Samsung handphone/Baby-G watch/bangkok trip for just $38 but only 25 of those items were available. Therefore, it was a first come first get basis. They are so kiasu that they did not even think hard - the total amount you spent was almost the same as the redeemtion things which you'll get with only $38.

I went to work and stepped into Paragon shopping center. People had started lining up outside Metro Level 2. I say to myself, these kiasus surely want to get those things. Some even came there as early as 7am, one customer said.

One of the toys staffs and I were asked to open up the gate near the escalator upon the operator's command of the code double zero(00). Thus, customers were pushing and running towards the cosmetics counters to get their products and off to the cashier so that they could be the first 25 customer to redeem X-Box or the handphone. At the entrance where my other colleagues were stationed, there were figthings going on. My colleague told me had the customer punched him and he had thrown a punch at him too. I was unfortunate that i did not witness it, if not i had joined in the fight too. Some customers took the advantage to molest others - men molests ladies not the other way around or men molest men. One customer thanked one of my colleagues because he had help her after a men molested her. Things on the shelves neatly arranged at Lancome counter were going to fall but thanks to the store boy for holding it while resisting the crowd.

Situations began to be as per normal after all the redemption were sold out in less than 5 minute. The security was right about singaporeans "You've got the things - Thank you, thank you. You've got no things, Haiyo... what is this, not fair le!"

Oh, how should i describe the nicest gothic and power-metal music. Its undescribable.

I really love the songs by Nightwish, Rhapsody and the list go on and on. They are from countries like Norway and countries that we did not expect, to produce talented gothic-metal artists.

I exchanged my Mp3 with my sister because Creative's sound system is the best if we played songs of gothic-metal. Furthermore, i just need a small capacity of mp3 to store a 30 minutes songs while i am going to work in the train. Thanks sis.

"Khai's tapping his little fingers, following the rythem of the songs he listen on his mp3"

Oh, its System of a Down, my once-upon-a-time fusion metal band. They are really heavy still although their album released a few years ago.

Enough of that. After work, i went to Far East for a short looking-around the shops. Thought of buying something the next time round. We look around and went home after our dinner.

Oh wow! Its been a week since i last update my rant section. Oh man, oh man, time really fly. Does it fly? Hmm...

Nothing much happened for the past few days of the week. The only thing is that it seemed the same as the previous two weeks. Work is the same, friends are the same and life is the same.

Yesterday, i went to beach road. Just looking at the things there and bought a pair of new shoes. I need a pair for poly. After circulating around the shops, i found out that certain shops, the shopowners did not respects its customer. There was one shop which i was asking for the price of a polo t-shirt, without answering my question, he grabbed the t-shirt and put it into a red plastic bag, assuring that i wanted to buy it. Hell, i just need the price, its not that i want to buy it on the spot~! Surely, as a shopper, you need to survey the price of a thing that you want to buy right? What if i had bought the shirt at that shop which cost $8 and the other shops sell it for $5? Would you buy from the lower price or the higer price shop? *Think*

Escape Themepark

I had a great time with my old friends at the Escape Themepark. Ruzaini, his brother, Taufiq, Zhi Liang, Farid, Yudhi and mubarak.

We supposed to meet at 1pm, Pasir Ris mrt station but since I just finished my work today at 1 15pm, we met around 2 in the afternoon. The sad thing was those who i invited did not turn up. Same old escuses, some gave to me but too bad they missed the fun.

We rode Viking ship followed by the Invertor and off to go cart. The best part of the themepark was the Go Cart. As i could still remember, every different ride, we rode them at least three times. The funniest and memorable part was the Wet and Wild Ride. Those who sat behind the 2 seater boat were the ones who always get fully wet. Luckily, i sat infront in every ride getting a minimal wet. It was a memorable experience.

The next outing, we are planning to go to Wild Wild Wet.

Progenies of the great apocalypse

The battle raged on and on
Fuelled by the venom of hatred for man
Consistently, without the eyes to see
By those who revel in sewer equally

We, the prosperity of the future seal
Cloaked by the thunders of the north wind
Born to capture the essence of
The trails of our kind

Zero tolerance must be issued forth
Behind the enemy's line
So it shall be written
And so it shall be done

(repeat 1st and 2nd verse)

Discover and conceive the secret wealth
And pass it unto your breed
Become your own congregation
Measure the sovereignty of it's invigoration

We, who not deny the animal of our nature
We, who yearn to preserve liberation
We, who face darkness in our hearts with a solemn fire
We, who aspire the truth and pursue it's strength

Are we not the undisputed prodigy of warfare
Fearing all the mediocrity that they possess
Should we not hunt the bastards down with our might
Reinforce and claim the throne that is rightfully ours

Consider the god we could be without the grace
Once and for all
Diminish the sub principle and leave it's toxic trace
Once and for all...

Friendster Joint Horoscope for April 5, 2005

You and KhairuL are flying high today!

Sometimes, knowing when not to say something is a greater gift than having the right words. A judicious silence can communicate more than a torrent of the most eloquent words. Keep that in mind as you and a friend start discussing a topic that could quickly spiral out of control. Remember, you don't have to have an answer (or even a response) for everything; if a question comes up that's befuddling, just answer honestly, 'I don't know.' Attentive listening might be all your pal needs.
