Just wanna share with you my little things i do in my life (ya, apart from designing).

You guys know that muslims need to fast during the holy month of Ramadhan. Fasting is one of Islamic pillar and till today, i didn't miss any. I know, i did last year and the years before because of some cirumstances. Well, not that i`ve got something which girl have as a valid reason or what, haha really, i missed a few days because of O-levels, studies and sometimes i didn't eat during pre-dawn. As for this year, i never miss any fasting day whether i didn't take a meal during pre-dawn or thirsty which is not the valid reason. Like i say "Sahur tak sahur, ku pasti puasa!"

I didn't feel the atmosphere of Hari Hari Aidilftri this year. I guess the reasons are obvious. For the past years, my family and i went to Geylang to shop anythings in celebration of our festive season. Apart from that my friends and i used to go to the mosque to perform our night prayer - terawih. Friends including my secondary schoolmates. However, this year, i feel sad. Although most of us are going to lose contact sooner or later, some did uphold our friendship in other ways.

We did breakfast a few times outside, with my family at Satay Club Sembawang, with my friends at Bugis and so on... and oh ya, we did went to JB too as well as to shop. There, everything are so cheap, the trendy shops similar to Bugis Market, Far East shopping center and Queensway sc. I guess i'll shop at JB the next time round.

Yesterday, we went to to bugisby alighting at lavender to see some things at army market. My friend did bought the shoe which he was aiming for after more than 2 visits at the shop. We walked along arab street and to bugis street and finally ended at parco bugis junction. I guess we hang around there was much better than at Orchard or esplanade. Its much cleaner and more behavioral atmosphere.

and that what i did during the fasting period.

Early in the day, i painted my house gate. I chose green as i decide to match the colour with my living room tiles. It took me 3 hrs to finish the entire section and corners. I guess, my hard work really paid off because i did it without my dad's permission and he didn't say anything.

School kids are on holidays and young adults are getting back to Polys for the new semester. The MRT will pack with us again and majority of us will have to book in for the start of the new semester. And we are going to Geylang to break our fast together after class.

Like my friend ask, "dude, what time must we book in tmr?"
I replied, "report to SI renee at 9am at SP campus. tuff training ahead"

I've read the current news about Nightwish. I`m a fan of this gothic genre band called Nightwish and love their songs. The band lead by a female singer, Tarja has superb orchestra voice, just like Evenescense. There's a conflict within her and one of the male band members. Oh no, does this mean that Nightwish not produce album like before?

This decision is not something we are especially proud of but you gave us no choice. The gap between us is too wide. And the decision is made by us four unanimously. We are beyond the point where things could be settled by talking.

Joke: Alright, those who have talent and wish to be a Nightwish lead singer, do tell me in advance, so that we could make some audition. Haha.

I used to have the basic foundations of php. PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. In secondary school days, i'd learn scripting php and till now, the configurations which were taught to me seemed to fade slowly. In web development, i touch and continue improving my HTML & JAVASCRIPT/VBS skills rather than PHP or ASP.

There's a lot of different between php and other script. From what i know, if you want to script php, its not like scripting html. This means that you need to work along side with your server in order to test the scripts, unlike HTML. Php can be user friendly, once you configure it on your webspace. PhpNuke is a user-friendly configuration once you install the pre-made script. However, it can be your worst nightmare if you want to custmise the designs and content from scratch(i`m gonna try this).

A piece done just to kill my time, waiting for the clock strike at 2pm. A piece of deep meanings before i leave for Bugis - nah, i just can't stay at home during this time. I need to check out what's on bugis with my friends.

All Singapore Polytechnic full time students are to take at least 1 General Elective module per semester. I do not know why but the general reason was, to broaden our scope of study.

My module for the coming semester (as usual duh) but there's an addition module.



Oh really, for some is to widen their circles of "friends". Get my drift? Well, i just registered my module and i`m lucky number n but it shows this:



Some registered as early before 8am and some did after 8.30pm. You guys good luck. Well, peep on msn said "ALright, i wanna get back to sleep"

I saw the animations by the NOISE artist on Arts Central and their work were superb. I admired the animations done by the Nanyang Polytechnic students, especially The Bukit Candu. The effects and interfaces were professionally done. Great job!

Anyway, i've updated a few things on my site. On the main page, i've included some website which i would like to share with you guys. Sites like daFont, NOISE Singapore and Stock Exchange.

Secondly, the new website counter. I was searching for the perfect counter with visitor activities, screen resolution used, hourly visitor reports, IP address log and most of all the referal site - which is what i`m looking for as i know from which site the user hope into mine's. However, i've got a problem of having the exact coastal time of hourly visitor's report. I`m going to look onto that.

I've got many things to publish on my site but i`m still figuring out which section i wanted to put them under. Hmmm... i think i`m going to reconstruct my navigation struction and create a site map for easy navigating.

I was asked whether i listen to a band named The Used. I don't but it seems a common thing around and i decided to google the band. I've asked around on what is the genre the band is playing. It was screamo, i've never heard of that.

1. Screamo

"screamo is a term that refers to recent bands that play old style emo. Most pinpoint the first use of the term to Saetia. When the media started to label pop punk and indie rock bands emo, people needed a new word to describe the style of music that used to be characterized with emo. Ok, now it was my first to listen a screamo genre. Wait, i guess Avenged Sevenfold was considered screamo, same goes with My Chemical Romance. I`m a Fake song by The Used was the first song i listen and it sounds like My Chemical Romance. Well, i google search the band and found their website. It was an interesting website, simple yet artistic. Its here.

The introduction page of the site is great however the users need to allow popups on the site if not, it could not continue to load the intro page. The site uses the mixture of different interface - flash and html codes. I was attracted to the enter page where you need to enter 666 or 999 on you keyboard in order to proceed. Isn't that cool. Furthermore, the arts of the website are of one superb quality.

My sister's in Australia and i`m in Singapore. I asked how's the weather like there and exchange news. We chat for a few minutes on msn before i went to her room and started laughing my a*s out. haha. This was sure funny. Ok that part was a hoax.

My sister just got her computer switch on, next door. Well, its been months since the computer can't be switched on, my curly-haired sisters were jumping with joy. At least, we can see each other on msn. Its been months since we last chat and we felt that we were far yet so near. Get my drift?

I got a network at home, connecting 2 computers to 1 router. I`m still using my laptop and my sis on PC, i hate using laptop cos i`m a heavy computer user. Anytime, my laptop could blow into bits.

Later in the day, i decided to do up my course's website - Landscape Architecture. There, the picture shows it and you guys can check the running but incomplete content here.

I don't know that i`m that famous. A boy started his conversation by calling my name. What, who's he? A boy in my former secondary school uniform. I guess he's in secondary 1. So, i did respond by saying "elo" and we shoke hands before i continue my journey to the nearby mosque. Oh, he's one of the peeps on the net who sought my help before. Sometimes, i felt guilty when peeps know my name and i forget theirs' or don't know what's their name. hmm...

Well, i've been offered a part time/freelance graphic design projects by partners of NOISE Singapore. However, i turned down their offer as i`m committed on other things such as pursuing my diploma course and graduate it with satisfaction. Furthermore, time management was my biggest fear. I'll accept the offer in the future after everything are settle down. i guess, i pray...

This is it! The moment of truth, this is my workspace. haha. Ok, i know this is lame. I really miss school. When i was in secondary school, i miss holiday but when i`m in poly, i don't know why i felt the opposite. Well, i went back to my studio just now, to continue making our handicrafts for a fair in November. Its the Green fair at Bedok Reservoir. So, my group is making a keychain and some other stuffs. Alright, now i`m gonna introduce to you guys, my workspace(this images was taken today where those are on holiday, the studio seems to be in peace at last. haha.)

This is my lil' garden. hee. I've yet to give a name for it cos i've done it about a month ago when we had our stressed-primer 3 project.


Oh, and beside it, there's a place where i dump all my art things, materials and whatever you can think of. Oh crap, this is scrap.

Well, at least this is the only part "which" look neat. A book will do to show that i do read books. haha. serious. There it is, my empty POKEY box which i've bought it and ate it about a month ago. haha. You guys want some?

On the background. I can say its a personal space. Some put up time table, photos of love ones, their dream houses, their motorcycle, their whatever that you can think of. haha. So, i put anything i love to see everyday!

And last but not least, as i leave for home just now, i wrote something and place it on my table. I know no one will touch my things but i can sense it. I don't want any people to touch the things i've done, and if they do, it'll be a mess. Enlarge it to read what i've wrote. hee.

Freedom can't be replaced by war or you can't promise it. Trust, promises and freedom were the strong words in Gladiator the movie. I know its an old movie but sure you would watch it over and over again.

Well, i love war movies and i borrowed any war movies which i come across on the shelves of SP library . War movies are great to see, with all the killings, gruesome battles, blood splatters and great effects which we have never dream of.

Apart from the modern-war movies, medieval stories of past wars, legends and myths are my interest. Spending precious time watching them might tell you what the past wars were used to be like.

I`ve got problem with my navigations. Its not either the link or the coding, its what are my navigation should be. The current navigations above, as you can see, look alright.
However, i need to fit in pages like blogskins download, wallpaper download or maybe in the future a t-shirt design page. I thought of putting a tree navigation which when someone rollover the navigations, a link to the sub-pages will popup. This look neat but to me its too formal.

Should i retain it as it is now or should i make a minor changes on it. If i were to make a minor changes to it, i will have to code the HTML again, doing importing images from the source file and into the HTML document. Well, this is really tedious. I've done that at least 3 time for satisfactory result.

For those who are not sure of what i`m talking, maybe one day you'll understand if you're a real webmaster.

I felt that i love my mini laptop more than my way of life. I logon for almost 2/3 of my day. I need to break that habit. Well, i need to really get a life or spend some precious time with my siblings or friends but i can't. Well, i`m addicted to the net. If i am, only friends on the messenger.

Things have been much easier for me, from the time i sleep late till wake up late and log online. My life is simple, its like, i've got no life at all. Its a daily routine which i guess most lazy bums do. I want to change the way i live. I want to change my life but how can i?

Well, there's been alot of those who seek help from me on the net for friendster, html and other codings. I helped them sincerely as this is where i share my knowledge and what i've learnt for the past few years.
Thus, this site really dedicates my willingness to help and share my knowledge with those out there.
